Baptist Caving Association

The BCA was a NSW caving club. It formed during 1967, and became a member of the Australian Spelelogical Federation in 1972. The journal of the Association was called "Baringa", meaning light, and the ASF holds 6 copies of Baringa in the library. The BCA finally wound down in 2002, and the paperwork of the Association was transferred to the ASF Archives.

BCA members were recorded as having discovered B24 - Odyssey Cave - at Bungonia, the deepest cave in the area and one of scientific importance.
