St. George Area Caving Team

The St. George Area caving Team was a member of the St. George Area Scout Association during the 1970s. The group was formed to promote caving within the scouts of the local area, and while they never professed to being a 'serious' caving organisation, a fair proportion of its members are not only still active cavers, but are still deeply dedicated to speleology and cave conservation in Australia.

The club newsletter was "Aragonite", a publication with decent production values for the time and good quality cover illustrations. Like many club publications it kept a mostly irregular schedule but aimed at (and mostly kept) producing four issues a year. Copyright is retained by the original authors. Access to these journals requires ASF membership and no material should be reproduced without contacting the ASF first.
